College/University Scholars Programs
Many colleges and universities have undergraduate scholars and scholarship programs on their campuses. The schools are highly selective in choosing academically high-achieving students who also excel in leadership and service. These premier scholars programs offer a wealth of enhanced learning opportunities for these students.
Scholars Programs are designed to bring top students to campuses following a highly selective and rigorous screening and selection process that may include:

an application separate from an institution's admissions application; and
-
regional and/or campus-based final selection activities (individual and group interviews, group seminars, discussions, writing exercises).
Scholars are often offered:

a competitive financial aid package;

dedicated mentoring and advising, from staff, faculty and peers;

enhanced educational opportunities, including seminars, studies abroad, discussion series, workshops, and/or certification experiences;
