The SSAR, aka Self-Reported Student Academic Record or any other type of self-reported transcript.
Applying to a Florida public University? Many of them do not want you to send your transcript with your application! They want you to self-report it instead! They want...The SSAR...UCF also requires students to self-report on their own form called SPARK. Some schools outside of Florida may want you to self-report using their own form also.
Instead of sending an official transcript, SSAR schools require applicants to self-report their academic history/transcripts using the Self-Reported Student Academic Record (SSAR). Only accepted students will be required to submit their final high school transcripts. DO NOT SEND A TRANSCRIPT INSTEAD OF THE SSAR!!
NOW: Create your SSAR account at https://www.selfreportedtranscript.com/ssar/Login.aspx. You can add information and save and edit it later—when you get your senior schedule, for instance.
To add your classes and grades: Go to Virtual Counselor. Print out the “Graduation Information” screen that lists all the classes for which you earned high school credit, including middle school classes and dual enrollment courses. Nova is on a semester system.
Here are great tools to help you complete the SSAR: http://www.admissions.ufl.edu/apply/freshman/ssar-faq & http://admissions.fsu.edu/freshman/ssar/videos/
It is VERY IMPORTANT to be honest and accurate when you complete the SSAR. Final transcripts that are considerably different from the SSAR could cause a student’s acceptance to be rescinded!!!
